SOILICIOUS
Soilicious contains a combination of around 70 species of microorganisms. These dynamic organisms are fed with molasses which is not just microbe food. Molasses also has many benefits in the garden due to its sugar & mineral content.
How it works & what it’s good for:
In a nutshell Soilicious builds soil making it friable & the nutrients more bioavailable to plants. It does this by breaking down organic matter while producing bioactive substances: vitamins, hormones, enzymes, amino acids, and antibiotics, enriching and detoxifying the soil. The microbes coat seeds & roots allowing the plant to absorb nutrients more efficiently, which in turn promotes optimal germination, growth & productivity throughout the entire plant cycle. NEEM
Neem oils vary widely in potency from around 300ppm to 3500ppm of the active ingredient Azadirachta. Neem oil by SoiLicious contains 3510ppm active ingredient making it one of the most potent available in Australia.
How it works: When applied directly to the soil, plants can take it up systemically, which deters insects from feeding.
Neem oil repels insects and other animals directly when encountering it on the leaves. Should they insist on having a feed the azadirachtin interferes with the insect’s hormonal system, inhibiting their eating, mating and egg-laying patterns. It also inhibits growth, which prevents larvae from molting and eggs from hatching. Because azadirachtin acts on the hormonal system, insects don’t develop resistance in future generations, thereby making it a sustainable solution.
Neem has many other uses including skin care. It can be added to shampoo to kill the kids nits. Ticks and fleas on dogs and cattle etc don’t stand a chance.
